I LOVE my job! What could be better? I get to see wonderful people regularly and help them to be healthy, comfortable, and confident. Being a dentist is never boring because dentistry is always advancing, the result of research and scientific discovery.
My hometown is Hacienda Heights, in Los Angeles County. Attending the University of Southern California, I was awarded membership to Phi Beta Kappa. There at USC I developed an interest in helping urban kids, cinema as an art form, and dentistry. The move to San Francisco to attend dental school at the University of the Pacific was a shock to my system. The chilly summers and the urban traffic were tough at first. But the natural beauty of the Bay Area won me over!
I have been practicing dentistry in San Francisco for over 30 years. Throughout this time, I have volunteered in communities in San Francisco and the East Bay, performing dental screenings and teaching kids how to care for their teeth. I also spent some time teaching at the UCSF School of Dentistry and serving on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Dental Society.
